A recent on-site incident at a BOS Security client reinforced the value and peace of mind our officers bring to the people we serve. A member of a University of Georgia sorority left their property in the early morning hours. She was observed by officers Debra Russo and Stephanie Prather who were concerned for her safety and alerted the authorities who questioned a man found in the area. Fortunately, the young woman returned safely and unharmed.
House Director, Susan Beaumont said, “Once again, I am comforted to know I can sleep soundly as our guards not only do their job each night but go “above and beyond” to keep our girls and property as safe as possible.”

What I do matters because… “I do my best to be the person anyone on my job sites know they can come to whether it’s to diffuse a situation or to be a light to them.”
The most rewarding part of my job is… “Not only the relationship I have built with various co-workers, but also knowing my presence plays a role in making our clients feel safe. Whether it’s the sorority sisters’ coming to me about a situation or it’s the housekeeping and kitchen help that wants me outside with them while they walk to and from the building to their cars, It’s a good feeling!”
What are you most proud of at work? The relationships I have developed with my co-workers and supervisors. I appreciate the way my co-workers, my supervisors, and I communicate when we have an issue that arises. At the end of the day, we all work together as a team and that makes for much better outcome(s) to various situations we may come across. In high school, my JROTC Lieutenant Colonel told our class “You never get a second chance at first impressions” and that advice has always stuck with me.”
