The VirtuGuard™ Command Center received an alarm from a car dealership at approximately 1:59am one morning. The alarm was triggered from movement detected by a security camera. A male stumbled onto the property and fell onto the ground, laying on his back.
After observing the male fall and remain on the ground, VirtuGuard™ Agents activated a Voice Down announcement to alert the male that he was trespassing and to instruct him to exit the property. The male only waved his arm while remaining on the ground.
Agents attempted to deliver a second Voice Down; however, the male remained on the ground and waved his hand again.
At 2:02am, VirtuGuard™ called the local police department to report the trespass and a potential medical emergency. Agents also contacted the primary contact for the client, ensuring that the client was aware of the ongoing situation and the steps being taken to resolve it.
At 2:16 am, the police arrived onsite and approached the individual. Minutes later at 2:21am, the primary client contact also arrived onsite to assess the situation.
After speaking to the male, police placed him under arrest and left the property in a squad vehicle. After speaking with police, the client notified VirtuGuard™ that the male was arrested because he was too intoxicated to walk home safely.
