How BOS Security Officers are trained to handle situations.

BOS Security is always looking for applicants with demonstrated customer service skills. BOS Security will provide all training and coordinate your certification. BOS Security always pays our Officers for training time. Also, BOS Security does not charge our employees for uniforms and equipment.

Officers for BOS Security must:

• Be aged 18 or older.
• Pass identity and criminal record checks.
• Complete BOS Security’s initial training as well as continuous ongoing training throughout your career.
• Be dependable – show up to work on time and perform your duties to the best of your ability for the entire shift.
• Demonstrate the ability to work well with the public.

You might be surprised. The ideal candidates have really good customer service skills. Security is a people job, That’s why BOS Security needs people-people! We can train for security knowledge, but if you don’t like interacting with people, you’re unlikely to do well or enjoy the job!

Some of the skills and qualities that make someone a good candidate for a career in security include:

• Customer service/people skills. You’re a friendly face who makes people feel safe and protected.
• Strong attention to detail. If you’re the kind of person who always seems to notice when something’s not right, security might be a great fit.
• Ability to stay calm in an emergency (and keep others calm).
• Dependability – security posts must be manned. We need officers we can count on to show up on time and stay for the whole shift.

Security Officers for BOS Security can work in a variety of Atlanta businesses. These could include Class A office buildings, banks, manufacturing facilities, apartment complexes, gated residential communities, or consulates of foreign nations.

What does a Security Officer do?

All armed officers are certified annually to the same marksmanship standards as law enforcement personnel and review agency Use of Deadly Force Policy.
