VirtuGuard™ Agent Vivian Brown was named as a 2026 25 on the RISE awardee by the Security Industry Association (SIA). The 25 on the RISE award program recognizes 25 new and emerging security each year for their contributions to advancing the security industry. 

Vivian Brown first joined BOS Security as an onsite Security Officer over four years ago. She spent two years gaining field experience for detecting unusual activity. Her exceptional performance in the physical security space promoted her to a VirtuGuard™ overnight security monitoring supervisor. In this role, she oversees nightly activity and ensures that each property is entirely secured. 

Vivian has quickly advanced through the ranks at BOS due to her great customer service skills, security agent skills, tech abilities, and reliability, and is a key part of VirtuGuard™’s future. But before entering the security industry, Vivian first found her start in tech in the early 2000s, taking apart and rebuilding home gaming consoles and modding online games with a broken laptop.  

With the support of VirtuGuard™ and the 25 on the RISE program, Vivian aims to earn her CompTIA certification and continue helping to innovate the security world.

RISE is a community created by SIA to foster the careers of young professionals in the security industry. Professionals who are employed by SIA member companies and are under the age of 40, or who have been in the industry for less than two years, are able to join RISE.
