VirtuGuard™ was remotely monitoring a luxury car dealership in California when an alarm was sent into the Command Centers at 3:32am. Agents on duty immediately reviewed the video footage that triggered the alarm and a livestream from the property. An individual entered the sales lot through the main entrance, walking straight to the main entrance door and attempting to get inside. 

At 3:33am, after seeing the individual attempt to enter the dealership, Agents activated a Voice Down warning instructing the individual to leave the property and advising that law enforcement had been notified. The trespasser ignored the voice warnings and continued walking through the property, pulling on vehicle door handles.  

Agents were alerting local law enforcement of the attempted break-in when the individual crossed the street and entered another property. However, minutes later the individual returned, resuming pulling on car door handles. The individual returned to the main entrance of the building, setting down their belongings before prying at the front door. 

VirtuGuard™ Agents continued to update police dispatch of the individual’s movements and attempts to illegally enter vehicles and the dealership. At the same time, Agents continued issuing Voice Down warnings, instructing the suspect to vacate the property. 

Eventually, the suspect was able to enter an unlocked white Porshe and sat inside the vehicle. A few minutes later, while the suspect was still inside the vehicle, law enforcement arrived on scene and arrested the suspect for the attempted break-ins. 

VirtuGuard™ provided all relevant surveillance footage and a detailed incident report to law enforcement to assist in their investigation. After police exited the property with the suspect, Agents continued to monitor the property for any more suspicious activity before employees arrived onsite to begin daily operations.
