An outdoor shopping center near Atlanta implemented VirtuGuard™ remote video monitoring to reduce crime and unwanted behavior. Property managers were concerned about loitering and trespassing, break-ins to vehicles and businesses, and other illegal and unwanted behaviors. 

While remotely monitoring the shopping center one night, VirtuGuard™ Agents observed two suspicious males loitering outside of a business. One of the males appeared to pull on the door handles, presumably an attempt to illegally enter the business. 

Agents activated a Voice Command instructing the males to leave the area. One male was observed leaving the area, but the other moved into the parking, remaining on the property. 

Command Center Agents then called the local police department to report the loitering. Soon after, a police car was detected entering the parking lot. The vehicle pulled up beside the male and asked him to leave the property. The male finally complied and was observed leaving the area. VirtuGuard™ continued to monitor the area to confirm that neither of the males returned.
