While remotely monitoring a luxury car dealership, VirtuGuard™ Agents observed an individual enter a white Jeep truck at approximately 2:42am. Shortly after, a second individual entered the vehicle. Agents reported that the first individual was a male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and white shoes and that the second individual was a male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants. 

As the first individual entered the vehicle, VirtuGuard™ immediately called the local police department to inform them of the situation. As the Agent was on the phone with the dispatcher, the vehicle was driven off the dealership’s lot. Agents provided the dispatcher with a detailed description of the vehicle, both individuals involved, and the direction in which the vehicle left the dealership. 

At 2:58am, Police Officers arrived on the scene and contacted VirtuGuard™ for the contact information of the dealership’s management. At this time, Agents were also relaying the information to management. 

The Officers informed VirtuGuard™ shortly after that the vehicle had been recovered, however both suspects escaped on foot. 

Agents continued to investigate the incident by reviewing the video footage and determining that the suspects were dropped off by a black Dodge Charger before stealing the white Jeep. VirtuGuard™ presented this information to law enforcement as well as contact information for a manager who would arrive to speak with the officers on scene.
