Command Center Locations
Pro-Vigil expanded its headquarters in 2023 by establishing their Security Operations Center. Security Operators work from their Texas-based headquarters. However, Pro-Vigil also has monitoring centers overseas.
VirtuGuard™ was founded in Athens, Georgia and our headquarters houses our Command Center. Our leadership team and Command Center management work onsite and directly with Monitoring Agents during their shifts. Each VirtuGuard™ Agent is a native English speaker and based entirely in the United States, easing communication with US-based and international clients.
Equipment and Hardware
Pro-Vigil does not manufacture or supply their own cameras. Clients can work with Pro-Vigil to ensure their surveillance cameras and other technology are compatible with the Security Operations Center.
VirtuGuard™ can work with almost any camera manufacturer and Video Management System (VMS). We are compatible with several vendors based on the client and their equipment to provide the best level of service possible. For incident detection and false alarm filtering, our Command Center utilizes a variety of Artificial Intelligence technologies to ensure the best results with each unique VMS.
Law Enforcement Liaison
BOS Security has over thirty years of experience in providing physical security services and our team consists of several retired law enforcement officers. This valuable experience enables ongoing relationships with local law enforcement agencies, which ensures effective responses to your property when VirtuGuard™ calls to report an incident.
When establishing and maintaining these relationships, VirtuGuard™ explains that Agents only call when active criminal activity is detected on a client’s property, improving police response times. Our Agents can stay connected to dispatchers while criminal activity is transpiring, relaying real-time information on the movements of perpetrators, as well as potential threats to officers, giving police added safety as they respond.
Our team’s experience with law enforcement influences our quality control. Retired law enforcement officers conduct daily reviews of calls from the night before. They use these recordings as training opportunities to improve our Agents’ responses to future calls.
Agent Training
VirtuGuard™ has extensive training protocols for new and existing Monitoring Agents. When a new Agent is hired, they complete initial training to become familiar with each VMS and protocols for various incident scenarios. Agents also complete mandatory continuous training to regularly improve their response times and outcomes.
Pro-Vigil reports a 24 second response time once a disturbance is detected. On the other hand, the median response time for the VirtuGuard™ Command Center is 10 seconds or less. This allows time for an event to trigger an alarm and send a short clip of the event into the Command Center for Agents to review in an instant. After reviewing the event, Agents can then react according to protocol.
Agents may activate Voice Down announcements to deter activity and clear an area or alert onsite security personnel or local law enforcement if necessary. We also leverage strobe lights, flood lights and similar devices as needed.
Contract Length
Pro-Vigil requires clients to sign three-year contracts. Only after three years have passed can clients choose whether or not to renew their binding contracts. Binding contracts leave little incentive for companies to improve their monitoring services if they are not meeting their client’s security needs. If a client wishes to end their contract early, they may have no choice but to remain in the contract or face costly legal expenses.
VirtuGuard™ operates on a month-to-month contract with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Our remote video monitoring services evolve with your business’s changing security needs. Our Command Centers can easily integrate added surveillance cameras and technology and can adjust monitoring costs as activity rises or decreases.
If you are not 100% satisfied with our services, you are not locked in a binding contract. Our team works closely with clients to ensure that every security concern is addressed and reduce crime or unwanted events.
