BOS Security is proud to be a trusted airport screening partner in the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) Screening Partnership Program (SPP) since 2009, providing private security screening services at airports nationwide. TSA Gold+
In May 2026, the TSA announced its new TSA Gold+ program. The Gold+ program is a new public-private partnership initiative that enables aviation security innovation by combining the SPP with the TSA’s innovation authorities.
TSA Gold+ is separate from the original Screening Partnership Program. The new partnership program allows airports that opt-in to the program to tailor their screening services and leverage cutting-edge technology without lengthy federal budget cycles. Under TSA Gold+, partner companies and airports are still held to federal security standards.
In August 2026, the TSA announced it was terminating the Gold+ concept and replacing it with another initiative.
Horizon 25 Strategy
In August 2026 TSA Administrator David P. Cummins launched the Horizon 25 Strategy. The strategy is designed to continue modernizing TSA’s checkpoints, improving the traveler experience, and strengthen multi-modal transportation security. Like Gold+, Horizon 25 aims to accelerate public-private partnerships to expand modernization across the TSA.
