Roane Beard

Roane joined BOS Security in July of 2024 as the Operations Manager for VirtuGuard. In this role, he oversees the Command Center located in Athens, Georgia and is responsible for all aspects of its operations, performance, and compliance. He played a key role in supporting the Command Center’s successful UL 827B certification, working closely with leadership to ensure operational readiness, documentation alignment, and adherence to stringent regulatory requirements. Roane also led efforts to stand up and operationalize two Command Centers, establishing staffing models, workflows, and processes that support scalable and resilient operations. In addition, he oversees rigorous initial and ongoing training programs for Command Center agents, ensuring consistent performance, regulatory compliance, and high service standards.

Prior to joining BOS Security, Roane spent over three years at BOS Security’s sister company, BOS Medical Staffing. He began his tenure as a Recruiting Specialist and advanced through roles as a Staffing Specialist and Senior Staffing Specialist before serving as a Team Lead. In that capacity, he managed scheduling and operational oversight for Correctional and Behavioral Health clients. Earlier in his career, Roane worked at a B2B sales organization, supporting Quality Assurance and Lead Administration functions.
