Command Center Locations
While Stealth Monitoring reports having seven different control centers, their operators are frequently not located in the United States.
Every VirtuGuard™ Agent is based in the United States. VirtuGuard™ monitoring Agents are native English speakers, easing communications with callers, Security Guards, Police Officers, and more. Misunderstandings that could cause delays or derail resolutions are greatly reduced with U.S.-based operators. In addition, your data never leaves the US and is protected and encrypted.
Agents are familiarized with each client’s property and the communities they exist within. VirtuGuard™ establishes close relationships with local law enforcement agencies to respond quickly to incidents and reduce delays.
Equipment & Hardware
Stealth Monitoring typically requires that you install their GeoVision manufactured equipment at an additional cost. Requiring clients to install GeoVision equipment limits the endless capabilities of other remote monitoring technologies. Additionally, requiring clients to install specific equipment comes with a large up-front cost on top of the monthly monitoring service costs.
VirtuGuard™ is equipment agnostic – we work with hundreds of major camera manufacturers and can likely work with your existing equipment, reducing your costs. Our Technology team integrates clients’ existing or new security cameras and other infrastructure into our Command Center to capture and prevent incidents.
In addition to working with existing security technology, VirtuGuard™ can add on-site edge devices as needed to leverage several cloud-based services to enhance detections and enable faster responses. Even after a client has been fully onboarded, our Technology team continues to introduce innovative technologies to improve efficiency and Agent responses.
Law Enforcement Liaison
BOS has a team of retired law enforcement officers on our management team. This provides two benefits:
Our retired officers liaison with your local law enforcement to ensure effective responses to your property when we call. Through building that relationship and explaining that when our agents call it’s because we see active criminal activity on your property it gets a better response from the police. Additionally, when our agents stay connected to the dispatchers, we can relay real-time information on the movements of perpetrators and the potential threats to officers – giving our officers added safety as they respond.
Additionally, this team of retired officers conduct daily reviews of calls from the night before. They use these recordings as training opportunities to improve our agents’ responses to future calls.
Agent Training
VirtuGuard™ Agents are trained firsthand by security technology experts when they first begin their new position. Agents and Command Center Managers work from physical Command Centers, giving new and existing Agents opportunities to learn directly from more experienced individuals and ask relevant questions as they occur.
The VirtuGuard™ Agent training period is extensive and ongoing. The IT team is constantly making improvements to artificial intelligence, response procedures, reporting, and more to ensure clients are receiving the best service possible. These improvements are conveyed to Agents as they occur so that each Agent is up-to-date and prepared to complete their job responsibilities to the best of their ability.
In addition to receiving training on how to utilize security technology and video management systems, VirtuGuard™ Agents also take courses on report writing and best communication practices. Communicating details to law enforcement and clients is crucial to crime prevention and protecting client properties. Agent training is always evolving as the video monitoring industry evolves.
