VirtuGuard™ was remotely monitoring a luxury car dealership when a delivery van arrived onsite at 4:01am. Artificial Intelligence applied to surveillance cameras on the property detected the vehicle approach and sent an alarm into the VirtuGuard™ Command Center for Virtual Guards to immediately investigate.
Agents reviewed the live video footage of the delivery driver unlocking the gate and pulling up to the Shipping and Receiving Bay. The driver opened the bay and began unloading boxes into the building. Agents confirmed that the event was an expected delivery and continued to monitor the area as the delivery driver finished unloading.
Minutes later, the VirtuGuard™ Command Center received another alarm from the site at 4:08am. From a nearby security camera, Virtual Guards observed an individual enter the property, walking between a wall and a shipping container. The individual was wearing a hoodie, baseball cap, and black ski mask, and appeared to be crouching behind the wall and assessing the delivery. The delivery driver appeared unaware of the trespassing individual.
At 4:10am, after the unknown individual remained hidden between the wall and shipping container, Virtual Guards conducted a Voice Warning through two-way audio speakers installed throughout the property. Due to the ongoing delivery and the unknown individual wearing a ski mask, VirtuGuard™ demanded that the individual leave to property immediately or police would be dispatched. Fortunately, the individual acknowledged the Voice Warning and left the property right away.
VirtuGuard™ continued to monitor the area to ensure that the individual did not return and that the driver could complete the delivery and secure the bay and gate as they left.
