Virtual Guards Detect Trespass, Police Take Suspect Into Custody

At approximately 4:06am, the VirtuGuard™ Command Center received an alarm from a luxury car dealership. The dealership is outfitted with surveillance cameras and two-way audio capabilities. Our technology team applied Artificial Intelligence capabilities to the cameras, allowing them to alert the Command Center under set parameters.

VirtuGuard™ Agents reviewed the video footage that triggered the alarm and observed an individual walking through the property. The individual, seemingly a male wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and black pants, was pulling on car door handles as he walked throughout the property.

Virtual Guards conducted two Voice Warnings at 4:17am and 4:18am, notifying the individual that they were trespassing on private property and that police would be called if they did not leave immediately. The individual ignored the warnings, continuing to walk between cars in the lot.

At 4:19am, VirtuGuard™ called the local police department to report the situation. Simultaneously, another Virtual Guard called and left a voicemail for the designated dealership contact.

Virtual Guards continued to closely monitor the property and the individual while waiting for police response. The male was observed continuing the walk around the property before crouching behind a white SUV. VirtuGuard™ updated the police department to give them as much information as possible to respond safely and efficiently.

At 4:28am, only 22 minutes after the first sign of trespass, police were observed arriving at the dealership. Officers proceeded to make contact with the male. The male was immediately placed in custody and removed from the property in a police vehicle.

VirtuGuard™ informed the client of the situation and provided detailed report of the incident within 48 hours. Virtual Guards continued to conduct proactive virtual patrols of the property and respond instantly to alarms triggered by AI technology.
