Sword-Swinging Trespasser Arrested at Auto Dealership

Late one night at 11:34pm, the VirtuGuard™ Command Center received a motion-activated alarm from a car dealership. Agents reviewed the video footage of the motion trigger, observing a male enter the parking lot. The trespassing male appeared to be wearing a bath robe and cargo pants, and what appeared to be a sword on his hip.

Agents activated a Voice Down, alerting the male that he was trespassing and instructing him to leave the premises. The individual proceeded to exit onto the sidewalk and was observed walking away from the dealership.

However, about 30 minutes later at 12:05am, the male returned to the property and began pulling on the door handles of the dealership. Agents issued a final Voice Down, warning the trespasser that if he did not leave the property, law enforcement would be contacted.

The male moved to the front side of the building but proceeded to put something on the ground of the parking lot and attempted to light the item on fire. Agents called the local Police Department and informed them of the ongoing situation.

Officers were observed arriving on site only minutes later. Officers made contact with the trespasser and placed him in handcuffs before searching him. Meanwhile, another Officer was seen speaking on the phone, presumably about the status of the trespasser they had just detained. A few minutes later, the arresting Officer put the male in the back of a police vehicle before driving away. VirtuGuard™ informed the client of the incident and arrest and continued to monitor the property overnight for any other suspicious activity.
