Below, we break down each benefit, so you know exactly what to expect when you join our team.
Allow BOS Security to Benefit You
At BOS Security, we value the work our security officers do, and we believe they should be paid fairly for their contributions to making our communities safer. Our benefits include:
- Healthcare coverage options
- Paid time off and vacation leave
- Holiday pay
- Uniform program
- Referral bonus program
The work our employees do isn’t without risk. We want every officer to feel appreciated and rewarded for the service they provide, no matter their post or position.

Why Are Benefits Important?
Benefits can make or break an employee’s experience with a company. They’re one of the clearest ways a company can show appreciation for its people — by making it easier to improve their quality of life outside of work. Our hope is that by easing the stress of healthcare costs and long-term planning, our officers can focus fully on their job assignments. Keeping our employees happy, healthy, and productive is our priority.
Do BOS Security Officers Get Health Insurance?
Yes. According to CareerBuilder, 87% of applicants list medical benefits as their most desired company benefit aside from pay. Financial stress from healthcare costs affects both home and work life, and productivity tends to decline when an employee is preoccupied with how they’ll pay for care. BOS Security is committed to healthcare coverage options that reduce stress and support better performance on the job.
BOS Security offers medical benefits for employees and their families. During onboarding and open enrollment periods, employees have the opportunity to enroll in a healthcare plan that best suits their needs.
Paid Time Off and Vacation Leave
Employees accrue PTO and vacation time to reward hard work with well-deserved downtime — we want our employees coming back from PTO recharged and ready to go.
Holiday Pay
Security employees receive holiday pay for designated holidays.
Uniform Program
BOS Security supplies full uniforms for armed and unarmed security personnel at no cost. We take sizing information and issue each employee a uniform and badge reflecting the level of experience, training, and professionalism our clients expect. Armed officers are also issued a ballistic vest for added protection in the field.
Referral Bonuses
Our Referral Bonus program rewards officers for recommending family, friends, or anyone they think would be a good fit for a role with us. Applicants just need to enter the referring employee’s name where the application asks how they heard about BOS Security. Once the new hire completes 80 hours of work, BOS Security pays the referring employee $100.
Note: it’s the employee’s responsibility to notify us in order to receive the bonus.
